Going Greek

 

I have been in love with the Greek Isles since my parents visited years ago and brought back beautiful pictures of their time there. The crisp white of the buildings in Mykonos against the backdrop of the deep blue hue of the Aegean Sea is the perfect color palette.

 

While I won’t be making any treks to that neck of the woods anytime soon, I am indulging in my love for all things Greek by adding this gorgeous duvet with the Greek key design from West Elm to my decor wish list.

The Greek key design, according to Wikipedia, is a form of a meander, which is a decorative border made up of a continuous line. This line is then shaped into a motif. These keys are thought to symbolize infinity and unity.

 

Now, if only I could spend infinity with a Greek shipping heir…
